N, Q, R Subway Repairs Planned for 4 Nights

NEW YORK (AP) —

For the next four nights, N, Q, and R service in Manhattan will be shut down for repairs from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Transit officials say the service disruption will begin Monday and end Friday. The subway repair is part of the MTA’s Fastrack program. Customers should use these travel alternatives:

  • Use nearby stations on the 8th Avenue (A, E), 7th Avenue (1, 2) 6th Avenue (D, F, Q) and Lexington Avenue (4, 6) lines instead.
  • Take the 7 for service between Queens and Manhattan.
  • Make key transfers between services at Queensboro Plaza (7, N), 5th Avenue/42nd Street-Bryant Park (7, D, F, Q), Jay Street-MetroTech (A, F, N), and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center (2, 4, D, N, Q).
