Cuomo Met With Feds on Ex-aide’s Corruption Case
Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Thursday that he has met with federal authorities following the September announcement of criminal charges against longtime adviser Joe Percoco.
Others charged in the corruption case include a former State University of New York Polytechnic Institute president. Cuomo says the meeting was voluntary, he was not under oath and he doesn’t know if he’ll be called as a witness during Percoco’s trial.
Percoco and the others have pleaded not guilty. The case alleges bid-rigging and bribery related to state economic development projects.
