Fire Damages Entire Block of Homes in Trenton

A fire that broke out early Monday damaged nine homes and forced an entire city block in New Jersey’s capital city to be evacuated. Three of nine homes damaged have collapsed.

The fire broke out in a home on Weinberg Place in Trenton around 3 a.m. and flames quickly spread to neighboring homes. Downed power lines initially hampered firefighters from getting near the flames. Two people were injured and seven people were displaced.
