Man Sues Doc for Leaving His Appendix In
An investment banker is left wondering how two surgeons reported taking out his only appendix in operations 14 months apart, The Associated Press reported. William McCormack is now suing Lawrence Medical Center in Bronxville who said they removed his appendix in January 2013. But last month he went to Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake with more abdominal pain. He says surgery revealed an enlarged appendix, which was taken out — again.
