The IDF began counterterrorism activity in the Jenin area on Friday morning, the IDF announced shortly after an exchange with terrorists commenced.
Five terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire, according to Israeli media reports citing the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
IDF soldiers encircled a building where terrorists had barricaded themselves, and IDF aircraft struck several armed terrorists in the area.
