In a week-long operation in Gaza City’s Shejaiya neighborhood, the IDF reported Friday that approximately 100 terrorists have been killed and over 100 terror-related sites have been destroyed.

During the past day, IDF troops eliminated dozens of terrorists through clashes, tank shelling, and targeted airstrikes in Shejaiya. One specific strike targeted a terrorist responsible for launching rockets at Nachal Oz, with the terrorist being identified and neutralized just two minutes after the attack.

The operation in Shejaiya, initiated on June 27, is spearheaded by the 98th Division.

Concurrently, the IDF reported that operations by the 162nd Division in southern Gaza’s Rafah have resulted in the deaths of dozens more terrorists and the destruction of several booby-trapped buildings.

In the central Gaza region of the Netzarim Corridor, the 99th Division has killed several more terrorists, including a cell attempting to plant bombs.

In addition to the ground operations, IDF fighter jets and drones have conducted over 50 strikes across the Gaza Strip, targeting booby-trapped buildings, terrorist cells, and rocket launchers.
