One Injured After Shots Fired Towards Har Bracha

Shots were fired towards the Jewish community of Har Bracha in the Shomron on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in one injury. Reports suggested that the shooting occurred near Mitzpe Yosef.

It is believed that the Arab sniper was positioned at the base of the mountain near Shechem.

The Shomron Regional Council stated that the victim is not in danger and suffered an upper body injury from a distance.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Yaakov Golman, who provided initial treatment, reported: “We were told at the scene that the young man was wounded by gunshot. We provided him with medical assistance at the scene and he was then transported to the Meir Medical Center, with his condition currently defined as mild.”

The IDF confirmed the attack, stating: “A report was received regarding a shooting incident in the area of Har Bracha. IDF soldiers are on their way to the scene. The details are under review.”
