IDF Veteran Warns: “Next Disaster” Looms for Israel in North

In a Monday interview with i24NEWS, IDF Major General (res.) Yitzchak Brik cautioned that escalating tensions on Israel’s northern border could lead to catastrophe.

Brik expressed deep concern over potential actions by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, accusing them of being “off their rockers” in their handling of military strategy.

“They do not understand what is happening around them,” Brik asserted, criticizing plans that could lead to severe national consequences. He warned against any hasty actions that might trigger a wider conflict, emphasizing the need for prudent leadership amid heightened regional tensions.

Brik’s remarks come amidst ongoing security challenges, with recent incidents underscoring the fragility of the situation.
