Barrage of 40 Rockets Fired at Tzfas

On Thursday evening, about 40 rockets were launched from Lebanon towards the city of Tzfas and its surrounding areas. Approximately half of the rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome system.

No casualties were reported, baruch Hashem, but there was property damage, and several fires broke out.

In the Merom HaGalil Regional Council, a home suffered a direct hit while the family was holding an upsherin. B’chasdei Shamayim, there were no physical injuries, but the home was heavily damaged.

Power outages were also reported in Tzfas.

Magen David Adom provided medical assistance to a woman injured while heading to shelter and to another person who suffered from anxiety. Four family members were evacuated to the Ziv Hospital after sustaining light injuries from smoke inhalation in a fire caused by falling shrapnel.
