IDF Engages in Intense Combat With Hamas in Rafah, Southern Gaza
The IDF continue their operations against Hamas in Rafah, located in southern Gaza. In one notable incident, IDF forces identified and eliminated two terrorists armed with explosives via an airstrike.
Furthermore, soldiers from the 401st Brigade have killed several Hamas terrorists and uncovered weapons including Kalashnikov rifles and grenades during their operations in Rafah.
In central Gaza, the 99th Division has also been successful in their operations, eliminating several Hamas operatives. They coordinated an airstrike that resulted in the death of a senior sniper squad leader from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
The IDF has confirmed that its fighter jets continue to target and strike various “terror targets” across the Gaza Strip.
