Minding Our A.Q.s And M.Q.s

Just this week, my son said that he is teaching his kids that grades don’t matter; ten years from now no one will remember if you got an 80 or 100, but they will remember how you behaved.

I remember giving him this advice when he was 10 years old and proudly told me how he argued with a teacher about a few extra points on a test.

The best lesson we can teach our kids is to be mentshlich. If we are lucky, when our kids become parents they will pass it on to their children.
