‘Abuse of Power’

In his “On Second Thought” (“Abuse of Power,” June 12, 2019), Joel Rebibo focuses on the travesty of justice that led to the “preposterous” indictment of Sara Netanyahu for fraudulently ordering meals from restaurants, even though they had a “government-paid-for” chef and other equally trivial “sins.” The inanity of the charges appears to be analogous to some of the fatuous allegations being leveled against President Trump.

Mr. Rebibo’s pertinent censure of corrupt prosecutors arrogating to themselves this abuse of power should surely be of great concern and distress to the general public.
