Qatari Cash to Be Distributed in Gaza Sunday

After another Friday of violent rioting by Gaza Arabs, Hamas is set to distribute millions of dollars of Qatari cash to families and terrorists in Gaza Sunday, Arab media said over the weekend. A total of 60,000 families will receive $100 each, with families of terrorists getting more.

Over 4,000 Gaza Arabs rioted Friday, throwing rocks and firebombs at Israeli soldiers, who responded with anti-riot measures. At least one fire in the Gaza border area started after a balloon loaded with an incendiary device landed. A Gaza terrorist attempted to breach the border fence, and was arrested by IDF soldiers. At one of the riot areas, Arabs threw sharp metal objects at an Israeli jeep.

B’chasdei Shamayim, there were no injuries to Israeli forces in any of the incidents. Gaza sources reported that 103 Arabs were injured, 49 from Israeli fire. Hamas terror head Ismail Haniyeh accused the IDF of using live bullets against rioters. Since March 2018, when the weekly Friday riots started in earnest, 340 Gaza Arabs have been killed.

In an interview with Gaza Hamas-controlled media, Haniyeh said that “many times we have tried to conduct peaceful protests, but that does not mean we have abandoned the armed struggle against Israel. Hamas has missiles that can reach all parts of occupied Palestine. The American and Israeli governments today are the most radical in terms of their relations with Palestine. There is no doubt that the Israeli narrative is most influential, because of the power of the Zionist lobby in Europe and America. That is why the Palestinian resistance is thought of as terror. Unfortunately, the Western countries accept the Israeli narrative, which violates international norms and the natural right of nations to resist their occupiers,” he added.
