Measles Reported in Ashdod
The latest measles alert in Israel was in Ashdod on Sunday.
The Health Ministry sent out a notice to people who rode the following three buses of the Afikim company in Ashdod that they may have been exposed to the disease:
The 14 bus line which departed at 1:40 p.m. from the Rashbi station towards Rova 8, on February 25.
The 85 bus line which departed at 8:45 a.m. from Rova 8, HaTsiv’oni St, towards Macabi Health Offices on Rashbi St, on February 27.
The 85 bus line which departed at 9:40 am from the Rabbi Tarfon station towards Rova 8 in Ashdod, on February 27.
Commuters on those buses who were born after 1956 and haven’t been vaccinated with two doses of the measles vaccine, are requested to contact the nearest health office as soon as possible to determine whether they need to be vaccinated.
