Security officers on Friday arrested two suspicious individuals in the Jordan Valley. The two were observed attempting to cross Road 90, the main north-south road in the Jordan Valley. Soldiers arrested them and searched their possessions, and discovered firebombs and knives. The two were taken in for questioning. Security officials said they admitted that they were on their way to carry out a terror attack.

Israeli officials said Friday that Hamas had carried out rocket tests earlier in the morning. The rockets were apparently fired into the ocean. Residents of southern Israel said they heard the explosions of the rockets.

Overnight Thursday, security officials said they arrested several wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
