Jewish First Responders Answer Call at Fire in Upstate Bethel

Several Jewish emergency response teams responded to a call of a massive fire at a farm located on Route 17B in Bethel, NY.

Although the location is beyond the area usually populated by Jewish vacationers in the summer, nevertheless nearby Jewish members of Bethel EMS and other personnel sprang into action, driving several miles from the nearby White Lake area to offer any assistance needed.

Early reports indicate that the fire consumed a barn, but no one was injured in the blaze.
