The IDF on Monday announced the elimination of three Hamas commanders following an overnight combat operation in Gaza. The IDF reported that their soldiers identified a group of terrorists entering a munitions warehouse and swiftly called in an airstrike, resulting in the elimination of the terrorists and the destruction of the building along with its arsenal.

Furthermore, the IDF presented surveillance footage indicating at least three hostages being brought into Shifa Hospital on Simchas Torah. The hospital, used by Hamas to establish terror infrastructure, was revealed to have held hostages, including Cpl. Noa Marciano, Hy”d. Tragically, Marciano, who hailed from Modi’in in central Israel and was abducted from Kibbutz Nachal Oz, was confirmed to have been fatally harmed at Shifa after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries during her captivity.

The IDF confirmed the recovery of Marciano’s body from a building adjacent to Shifa, alongside the retrieval of Yehudit Weiss, Hy”d, 65, whose body was found in a nearby structure. Additionally, the IDF disclosed that apart from Marciano, hostages from Nepal and Thailand were hidden at Shifa Hospital following the Oct. 7 massacre.

Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, the IDF spokesperson, revealed evidence of Hamas concealing and ultimately murdering hostages within Shifa Hospital, showing footage of non-Israeli captives being brought to the hospital by Hamas terrorists in military vehicles. Despite the IDF’s efforts, these hostages remain unlocated and unrecovered.

Hagari stressed, “Hamas is holding hostages: elderly, men, women, children, and babies. The IDF remains resolute in its moral obligation to bring everyone home. Our mission will not cease until every individual is safely rescued.”
