IDF Confirms Loss of Six Soldiers in Gaza Conflict

On Motzoei Shabbos, the IDF confirmed the loss of six soldiers, Hy”d, who fought in Gaza. Their families have been notified.

  • Master Sergeant (res.) David (Dudi) Digmi, 43 from Rishon LeTzion, dedicatedly served as a paramedic in the southern brigade of the Gaza Division, and met his demise on Nov. 7.
  • Staff Sergeant Shlomo Gurtovnik, 21 from Modi’in Maccabim-Reut, valiantly served as a combat paramedic in Battalion 46 of Brigade 401, falling in battle in Gaza.
  • Captain Eden Provisor, 21 from Alfei Menasheh, served as a platoon commander in Battalion 52, Brigade 401, and tragically fell in the line of duty in Gaza.
  • Staff Sergeant Adi Malik Harb, 19 from Beit Jan, served in the Nahal commando unit within the Nahal Brigade, meeting his fate in battle in Gaza.
  • Staff Sergeant Shachar Friedman, 21 from Yerushalayim, served honorably in Battalion 101 of the Paratroopers Brigade, ultimately falling in the conflict in Gaza.
  • Major Jamal Abbas, 23 from Peki’in, served as a company commander in Battalion 101 of the Paratroopers Brigade and lost his life in the battle in Gaza.
