A woman walking on Park Avenue in Williamsburg on Friday night was robbed of a necklace and a diamond by a perpetrator who escaped on a scooter.
As she was walking in front of 491 Park Avenue at 9:30 p.m., a man riding a scooter stopped her and stole her necklace and a diamond before escaping southbound on Park Avenue. Shomrim responded to the scene and are working on locating and video footage which may help catch the thief.
