Pomona Residents, Rep. Lawler, Participate in Town Cleanup Event

Residents of the village of Pomona participated in a town cleanup event Sunday, as part of the “Keep Rockland Beautiful” movement.

Rep. Mike Lawler, whose congressional district includes Rockland County, came to the event.

“It’s important that we do everything we can to keep our environment clean,” Lawler said. “These community cleanups are really critical, as is partnering with Keep Rockland Beautiful and getting the community organized here in Pomona.”

The event was also attended by Mayor Ilan Fuchs, Rockland legislators Aron Weider Joel Friedman, and officials from neighboring Rockland towns.
