The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today reminded customers that switch replacement work will begin Monday, May 15, on the 6 Avenue line, which includes the B, D, F and M trains. These switches near West 4 St allow those trains to move between the uptown local and express tracks. As a result, there will be changes to service on those lines beginning at 5 a.m. through Monday, July 3, at 5 a.m.

Customers are advised to see the service changes by checking at new.mta.info to determine the latest status for each line.

For those who prefer to contact the MTA by telephone, information is available by dialing 511.
