Williamsburg Bachur Riding Bike in Miami Seriously Injured by Hit and Run Driver

This past on Motzaei Shabbos, as two bachurim from Williamsburg were enjoying a bicycle ride in Miami during their Pesach vacation, one of them heard a noise, and turned to see his friend laying on the ground near his bike, having been thrown from it when he was hit by a car which sped away from the scene.

As the injured bachur drifted in and out of consciousness, his friend quickly called for help and the injured boy was transported to a local hospital. The chaplain, Mark Rosenberg, was called to be with the victim, and extended his assistance to the injured bachur.

A family member was notified and a relative flew down to Miami to stay with the victim.

Due to the serious nature of the injuries, the victim was placed in an induced coma.
