Additional Pre-Pesach Garbage Collections, Communal Dumpsters in Midwood

The FJCC announced Sunday the opening of communal dumpsters, and an extra garbage collection day for residents of Midwood.

For areas with regular collection on Wednesday/Saturday, there will be an extra pick up on Tuesday, April 4.

For areas with regular collection on Monday/Thursday and Tuesday/Friday, there will be an extra pick up on Wednesday, April 5.

Please note that all refuse materials, including chometz, must be placed at curbside, no later than 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5.

The communal dumpsters will be located at:

Quentin Rd. between Bedford Ave. and East 26 St.

Nostrand Avenue @ Avenue L 3005 Avenue L

2810 Nostrand Avenue

Avenue P and East 33/34th Street

3311 Avenue S

No commercial refuse or burning chometz will be allowed at the dumpsters.

There will also be an additional recycling collection on Wednesday, April 5 beginning at midnight.

All recycling materials must be placed at curbside on the evening of Tuesday, April 4 for collection on Wednesday, April 5 from 12:00 midnight to 8:00 am.
