Bereaved Mother Has Son One Month After Ramot Terror Attack

YERUSHALAYIM

Just over a month after two of her sons were killed in a Palestinian terror attack, Hy”d, Mrs. Devorah Paley gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday morning, in a show of continuity of Jewish life.

On Feb. 10, Hossein Karake rammed his car into a crowd of people at bus stop in Ramot, killing Yaakov Yisrael Paley, five, and his seven-year-old brother, Asher Menachem.

A third brother, Moshe, 10, was lightly wounded in the attack.

Their father, Rabbi Avraham Noach Paley, has since regained consciousness. He left the hospital for the first time on Monday and went straight to the kevarim of his sons, marking their shloshim. He faces a lengthy period of rehabilitation and was taken to the cemetery in a wheelchair.
