BDE: Dr. Julian Mirman of Los Angeles

Dr. Julian Mirman, an anesthesiologist and beloved member of the Los Angeles community, was niftar Monday afternoon, three days after a tragic car accident.

Around 7:00 p.m. Friday night, Dr. Mirman and another man were returning from shul and walking near Bais Moshe Yitzchak (Rabbi Chaim Baruch Rubin’s shul) near Third Street and South Citrus Avenue when they were struck by a car. The driver remained on the scene.

Dr. Mirman suffered critical injuries and was niftar Monday afternoon. The other man sustained minor injuries.

Dr. Mirman, who was approximately 63 years old, is survived by his wife Linda: his children R’ Yaakov (and Zeesie) Mirman, (R’ Moshe and) Chani Torgow, (R’ Ari and) Miriam Alter, and (R’ Moishy and) Rochel Gershenfeld; and many grandchildren.

The lavayah is scheduled for Monday night 7:45 pm.m. (PDST) at Kehillas Yaakov 7211 Beverly Blvd (Rabbi Bess Shul).
