Bereaved father and terror victim Rabbi Avraham Noach Palei on Monday visited the kevarim of his two young children, Yaakov Yisrael and Asher Menachem, Hy”d, who were tragically killed in a terror attack last month.

Leaving his hospital room for the first time since the tragedy, Rabbi Palei was able to attend the sheloshim of his beloved sons.

Baruch Hashem, Rabbi Palei continues to recover from injuries sustained during the attack in Ramot, where a terrorist rammed a car into a crowded bus stop, killing the Palei brothers and Reb Alter Shlomo Lederman, Hy”d, a newly married man. Five others, including Rabbi Palei, were injured.

His condition worsened before getting better; for several weeks he was kept unconscious in an ICU, and underwent several surgeries.

Bursting into tears, Rabbi Palei said “Sweet ones, I didn’t have time to say goodbye to you. I thank Hakadosh Baruch Hu for giving you to us. We thank Hakadosh Baruch Hu for giving you to us… thank you, every time I would study with you I would emerge from it strengthened… what happiness you had in learning, what sweetness, what joy of life joy and true Torah…

“On this occasion I would like to thank all of Yisrael for their great prayers, all the prayers that gave me strength and health, and we saw visible miracles. HaKadosh Baruch Hu will help us to move on to grow the [family] properly, with joy.”
