BD’E — Rebbitzen Denah Weinberg, A”h

Hamodia is saddened to report the petirah of Rebbitzen Denah Weinberg, a”h, the wife of Harav Noach Weinberg, zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of Aish Hatorah in Yerushalayim.
Rebbetzin Weinberg married Rav Noach in 1958, and stood by his side as he revolutionized the baal teshuvah movement worldwide. She delivered classes for women in her home for many years, and in 1984 she opened the EYAHT (Isha Yiras A-do… Hi Tishalal) college in two ground-floor apartments located across the street from her home.
Rebbetzin Weinberg was a featured speaker at the annual Aish HaTorah Partners Conference in New York. She published several essays in books geared to Jewish women.
Her levayah is scheduled to leave from her home on Imrei Binah Street in Kiryat Sanz, Yerushalayim with kevurah to be on Har HaMenuchos.
