BDE: Reb Volf Tirnower z’l, Boro Park Machnis Orach

We regret to inform you of the petirah of Reb Volf Tirnower, known in Boro Park as a machnis orach.
Reb Volf would house and care for people traveling to the U.S. from Israel for medical treatment, free of charge.
He was involved in several other chessed projects, including building a mikvah in Tom’s River.
He was 60 years old, and was niftar following a short illness.
His levaya will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Satmar beis medrash on Rodney Street, followed by another levaya at Burshtiner beis medrash – where he was a longtime mispalel – at 3:30 p.m.
