A construction worker was killed on Thursday morning when a wall collapsed on him at a construction site on Rabban Gamliel Street in Bnei Brak.

It was the third death in the construction industry in the past ten days.

Other workers at the site were able to extract the man, 28, who was trapped under rubble from the collapse on the third floor of the building at the scene of the accident.

Efforts by MDA and Hatzolah medics to resuscitate him failed and they declared him dead.

Israel Police said it opened an investigation into the incident.
