BD”E: Rabbi Naftoli Borchardt, Z”l, of Bensonhurst
Hamodia is saddened to report the petirah of Rabbi Naftoli Menachem Borchardt, z”l, of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. He was 71 at his passing.
Reb Naftoli was the son of Rav Boruch Borchardt, z”l, who was the long-time Executive Director of Agudath Israel of America. Reb Naftoli was a Rebbi at Camp Agudah and spent a large part of his life learning in the beis hamedrash of Yeshivas Beis HaTalmud.
He is survived by, lhbch”l, his wife Mrs. Faygie (nee Handelsman), his children: Mrs. Gitty Tillim, Mrs. Shaindy Goldberg, son Reuvain, daughters Miriam and Mrs. Sori Moskowitz, and his brothers, Rabbi Yitzchok and Rabbi Yanki Borchardt.
His levayah will be held on Tuesday at Beis HaTalmud in Bensonhurst. Kevurah will be in Lakewood.
The levayah will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., at Yeshiva Bais Hatalmud, located at 2127 82nd Street, Brooklyn, NY.
Kevurah will be in Lakewood.
