Jewish Woman Injured In Auto Accident in Williamsburg

An elderly Jewish woman was injured in an unusual car accident in Williamsburg on Thursday night as she was ejected from the car she was traveling in and then hit by it as well.
The driver of the vehicle was the husband of the injured woman who backed up on Bedford Avenue near Ross Street. As the car hit another vehicle behind him, his wife fell out of the car, and then was run over by the car in which she had been traveling.
Hatzalah responded quickly to the scene of the accident and rushed the woman to Bellevue Hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
