Rabbi Goldknopf: We Will Not Do to Anyone What They Did to Us

In a reassuring message to those disappointed by the election results, UTJ leader MK Rabbi Yitzchak Goldknopf said Monday at the faction meeting that “all will see how the chareidim and secular can live together.”

He added that “we’re on the verge of forming a new government. We are in the home stretch. The attacks against the supposed coalition only support us and prove the need for a Jewish government in Israel.”

He noted that the ones whose education system has suffered for 70 years is the chareidi community, that has been discriminated against. “When our education budget was drastically cut down, no one called for a revolt.

“We ask you to lower the flames, so that the youth will not learn and go out and hurt.”
