Arrests Made, as Significant Progress Reported in Yerushalayim Bombings Probe
Wednesday brought significant developments in the investigation of the fatal bombings in Yerushalayim last week.
The information regarding the developments is still under a gag order.
This is part of the manhunt for the terrorist squad that planted devices at two sites in Yerushalayim last Wednesday, killing two Jews: a 16-year-old and a 50-year-old, Hy”d.
A senior officer said that in the coming days security forces will reach everyone that was involved in the incident and bring them to justice.
Although no specific group claimed responsibility for the terrorist attacks, there was praise from both Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad following the attacks. Israeli security forces have been on high alert since the bombings, focusing on intelligence efforts to detect the people behind the attacks.
