Victim of Terror Attack: 15-Year-Old Aryeh Shechopek, Hy”d, a Yeshivah Student

The Jew murdered in Wednesday morning’s bombing at the entrance to Yerushalayim was identified as Aryeh Shechopek, Hy”d, a 15-year-old yeshivah bachur who lived in the Har Nof neighborhood and learned at Yeshivas Pisgat Yitzchak in Moshav Beit Meir, where he was headed.

He was a Canadian citizen.

Aryeh was waiting for the regular van that would take him and his friends to the yeshivah. Another friend of his, who was waiting together with Aryeh, was also wounded.

The levayah will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, from the Boston beis medrash on HaAdmor MiRuzhin St. in Har Nof, to Har Hamenuchos.

Meanwhile, six of the victims of the attacks are being treated at Shaare Zedek Medical Center. A hospital spokesperson said two were in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, two were in critical but stable condition, and two were in moderate condition.

Eleven other victims with minor injuries were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

All are asked to daven for the two victims in critical condition: Elchanan ben Livnat and Chaim Nachum ben Feiga Rivkah.
