Gantz Orders IDF to Prepare for Escalation in North

In the weekly situational assessment led by Defense Minister Benny Gantz and with the participation of the Chief of Staff, the Director General of the Ministry of Defense and the head of the Operations Division held on Thursday, Gantz directed the IDF to prepare for a scenario of escalation in the north in both offensive and defensive efforts.
The instruction was issued in light of the recent developments in the negotiations on the maritime border with Lebanon.
