New York – A fire broke out at 3:30 a.m. on Kol Nidrei night in the Birchas Avraham Beis Medrash on Flushing Avenue in Williamsburg causing extensive damage and incinerating many taleisim and other items. Fortunately, the sifrei Torah in the shul were saved and spared from damage.
