Around 35,000 people arrived at the Kosel on Thursday night for Selichos.

Another major Selichos will be held on Motzoei Shabbos, at 12:15 a.m., the last Selichos ahead of Rosh Hashanah.

Efforts are being made to distribute the crowds and allow every visitor to visit the holy site and join the tefillos.

The Western Wall Heritage Foundation said that entrances to the Old City and the Kosel Plaza will be closed if there is congestion. As such, private vehicles will not be allowed in and entrance will only be possible for pedestrians.
