Woman Harasses Boro Park Man on Shabbos, Knocks Off His Shtreimel
In a suspected hate crime, a woman allegedly harassed, cursed at, and then knocked off the shtreimel of a man walking to shul on Shabbos afternoon.
The woman began harassing the man near the corner of New Utrecht and 11th Avenue in Boro Park.
When the man asked her to leave him alone and walked away, she chased after him, screamed at him and then knocked his shtreimel to the ground.
Boro Park Shomrim were made aware of the incident, and on Motzoei Shabbos, with the help of the man, they managed located the suspect. She was subsequently arrested by the NYPD.
