Terrorist Killed After Mispallelim Attacked at Kever Yosef

A Palestinian terrorist was killed overnight Wednesday in Shechem, the IDF said in a statement. Israeli forces entered the area to accompany a group of mispallelim who were davening at Kever Yosef.

Palestinian media identified the terrorist as 18-year-old Waseem Khalifa, who lived in a local refugee camp and was the son of a police officer. Several dozen Palestinians are also said to have been wounded, and clashes and exchange of fire are said to have continued into the night.

It was also reported that Palestinians shot at and threw stones at buses carrying mispallelim. No Israeli casualties were reported, b’chasdei Shamayim.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades claimed in a statement that its undercover operatives confronted the Israeli security forces, shot at them, and caused damage to a military jeep.
