Terrorist Killed by Undercover Officers After Attempted Stabbing
Undercover officers conducting a search killed a terrorist who attempted to stab them in East Yerushalayim, overnight Sunday.
The troops were conducting a search for illegal weapons in Muhammad Shaham’s home. As they were closing in on the target, Shaham’s family members came out and started confronting the troops. Then they were joined by Shaham, brandishing a knife with which he tried to stab the officers who responded by shooting, a police spokesman said.
The IDF conducted several raids across Yehudah and Shomron overnight and arrested several wanted Palestinians suspected of terror activity and seized make-shift weapons.
