Bachurim Lost in Katrina Falls Rescued by Emergency Responders

A group of ten bachurim who were lost for several hours on a hike in Katrina Falls were rescued by local emergency responders with the help of Catskill Hatzalah.

The group, from Yeshiva Tiferes Tzvi, based in Boro Park, had been staying at their summer location in South Fallsburg when they set out on a hike to Katrina Falls in Rock Hill-Wurtsboro.

When they group realized they were lost, they placed a call to Hatzalah, who notified the Rock Hill Fire Department, New York State Police, Forest Rangers and Mobile Medics, and a search began in the area. After two hours of searching, the group was found and rescued by the emergency responders, and all the boys were in good health.
