Monsey chaverim talk with local residents after the assault

Two frum men were shot in the face by a gel gun in Monsey motzoei shabbos, the third such attack this month.

The incident occurred at around 2:20 am, at the corner of West Central and Decatur Avenue, while the two men were walking down the street, Monsey Chaverim told Hamodia.

The victims did not require medical attention.

It is not known how many suspects were involved, but the shooter was driving a black vehicle.

Two weeks ago, also on a motzoei Shabbos, two women were struck by BB guns while walking on Route 306 near Phyllis Terrace, an unknown man was hit by projectiles, and eggs were thrown at a woman pushing a stroller.

Four arrests were made three days after those incidents, and police believe the group was responsible for all three of the crimes committed that night.

It is not known if there is any connection between the episode two weeks ago and this attack.
