NYPD Arrest Suspects in Boro Park Robberies With the Help of Shomrim

BROOKLYN — Boro Park Shomrim received a call at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon reporting three suspicious people on 14th Avenue and 37th Street.
Upon arriving at the scene, one member of Shomrim observed the suspicious individuals take a bike. While some members followed them, Shomrim tried to determine who the owner of the bike was.
The suspects then stole a scooter on Ft Hamilton Parkway and 40th Street. Shomrim continued following them and then observed as the group stole a package on 6th Avenue and 39th Street.
The NYPD was notified and when they arrived, the two suspects began to flee, with one suspect running towards 5th Avenue and 37th Street, and the other fleeing to 5th Avenue and 39th Street.
All three suspects were apprehended and arrested.
