Report: Biden to Meet Netanyahu During Israel Visit

President Joe Biden will meet with both caretaker Prime Minister Yair Lapid and Opposition Leader Binyamin Netanyahu during his upcoming visit to Israel, Israeli media reported, citing unnamed U.S. officials.

Biden will travel from July 13 to 16 to Israel, the PA and to a regional meeting in Saudi Arabia.

The U.S. leader shares a checkered history with Netanyahu, part of the latter’s famously fractured relationship with former President Barack Obama, during whose terms Biden served as vice president.
