By Matis Glenn
BROOKLYN – A man who mentioned school shootings while filming inside a Brooklyn school Wednesday morning was arrested Thursday, after the school notified the NYPD.
Police are investigating the incident, when 27-year-old Brian Lobianco, a former student, entered St. Edmunds Catholic school at around 8:00 a.m. without permission. He was found to have a small camera attached to his chest.
When questioned by school security, Lobianco, dressed in the school’s uniform, claimed to be a Junior in the school and that he was filming “because of recent shootings.” He was permitted to leave the school, but the NYPD was notified.
Police put out a wanted advisory and began searching for him. Fugitive Enforcement officers arrested him Thursday morning.
