Hatzalah Member Assaulted While Responding to a Call in Spring Valley

A truck driver who assaulted a Rockland Hatzalah member who was on a call was apprehended by the Spring Valley Police Department after Chaveirim of Rockland pointed him out to the officers.

The Hatzalah member, who was tending an emergency call on Ridge Avenue, had blocked the street with his vehicle, and a truck driver who wanted to pass got agitated and assaulted the member. He fled on foot, and a call went out to Chaveirim of Rockland, who pointed him out to the Spring Valley Police Department. The police took over the investigation and later cited the suspect.
