El Al Plane Lands Safely After Emergency Declared

YERUSHALAYIM – An El Al flight from the French city Nice landed safely at Ben Gurion Airport after an emergency situation was declared due to a technical malfunction.

Rescue services were dispatched to the airport ahead of the plane’s landing, after the pilot requested landing priority due to the malfunction. The nature of the malfunction was not yet disclosed.

The Israel Airports Authority said the Boeing 737 was carrying 170 people plus crew members.
