Yeshiva Bachur and Building Hit By BB in Williamsburg

A yeshiva bachur was hit with a pellet from a BB gun fired from a passing Black SUV in front of Yavoshna-Toras Moshe, a shul on Spencer Street between Park and Myrtle Avenues in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood near Willaimsburg in Brooklyn on Monday afternoon, May 16. The yeshiva building was also hit with BBs from the gun.

NYPD and Williamsburg Shomrim responded to the scene. The incident is being investigated as a possible hate crime.

Williamsburg Shomrim is checking nearby survaeilance cameras to help identify the perpetrators.

On Sunday, another incident involving a bus Chassidish school’s bus being shot by a BB gun at Taylor Street and Lee Ave was reported by the NYPD of the 90th Precinct. Williamsburg Shomrim assisted the NYPD in the investigation..

On March 27, a Jewish man was hit by a BB gun around 1:20 p.m. at Myrtle and Throop Aves. in Williamsburg. The young man was transported to Bellevue Hospital by Hatzolah.
