A massive fire engulfed a house on 10th Avenue corner 43rd Street in Boro Park on Friday night, destroying the entire two story house and leaving the family with several children who lived there without living quarters.

At 9:15 on Friday evening, the last night of Pesach, firefighters were called to the house, and it took nearly two hours and well over one hundred firefighters to bring it under control. None of the members of the Jewish family who lived there were home at the time, and three others, including two members of the FDNY, were injured.

The FDNY is investigating the cause of the fire.
