BD”E: Rebbetzin Fradel Weiss, A”h, Widow of Harav Moshe Weiss, Zt”l

Rebbetzin Fradel Weiss, a”h, the widow of noted talmid chacham and Chassid Reb Moshe Weiss, zt”l, passed away on Sunday.

A survivor of the Holocaust, she moved to Eretz Yisrael with her husband in 5726/1966. They settled in Kiryat Sanz, Netanya, near their Rebbe, the Shefa Chaim of Sanz-Klausenberg, zy”a.

Reb Moshe was one of the builders of Kiryat Sanz and Minchas Yitzchak in Yerushalayim. He was noted as a tremendous talmid chacham and baal chessed. He was niftar in 5776/2015.

They were zocheh to children, who are all noted talmidei chachamim, Rabbanim and Dayanim: Harav Dov Weiss, Rav of Kiryat Sanz in Yerushalayim, son-in-law of the Shefa Chaim of Sanz-Klausenberg, zy”a; Harav Asher Zelig Weiss, Gaavad of Darkei Torah; Harav Yonason Binyamin Weiss, Rav of Montreal, Canada; Harav Chaim Weiss, Rav of Beitar Ilit; Harav Avraham Yitzchak Weiss, Rosh Kollel Biale in Yerushalayim; Harav Meir Weiss, Rosh Kollel of Sanz in Union City, New Jersey; and Harav Mordechai Dovid Weiss, Rav of Beis Medrash Oraysa in London.

Her levayah was held in Yerushalayim and she was buried on Har Hamenuchos, near the kever of her husband.
